ICP-AES targets liquid samples, so solid samples must be dissolved by some method; however, it has features such as the ability to analyze multiple elements simultaneously and a wide dynamic range. This ICP emission analysis allows for qualitative and quantitative analysis of metals in samples as well as qualitative and quantitative analysis of leached metals.
